Effective analysis requires more than collecting data.
For player analysis to influence development, three things must happen. The right information must be collected, someone must know what to look for, and the findings must be communicated in a way that leads to practical action.
The right information
Not all tennis statistics are equally useful. Information must reflect how points are actually constructed and provide genuine context around player performance.
That means distinguishing between forced and unforced errors, understanding rally length, recognising patterns of play and identifying where points are being shaped, won and lost.

FLEXIBLE ACADEMY INTEGRATION
Two ways to work with a 135 Analyst.
An academy can have a trained and accredited coach/es to become an accredited 135 Analyst or work with an accredited Analyst provided through the 135 network.
In-academy Analyst
A coach employed by the academy completes 135 Accreditation and delivers the Analyst role as part of the academy’s existing player-development programme.

External 135 Analyst
An accredited 135 Analyst works alongside the academy remotely, providing interpretation, Player Sessions and coach reporting without requiring the academy to appoint an internal Analyst.

What does a 135 Analyst actually do?
A 135 Analyst follows a structured process that moves from match information to clear development priorities using the 135 Framework to profile, benchmark and measure development.
Review the evidence
Review analyzed matches, patterns, rally information and the player’s existing profile.
Build the player picture
Understand how the player is constructing points and where performance is currently strongest.
Benchmark performance
Compare relevant areas of the player’s performance with appropriate standards and previous results.
Identify priorities
Select the small number of development priorities most likely to influence future performance.
Conduct the Player Session
Explain the findings and create a clear, constructive development conversation.
Measure progress
Review future matches to understand whether performance is changing and what should happen next.
